As civilization electrifies, energy demand will continue to outpace the deployment of terrestrial infrastructure required to deliver it. Space solar energy has the potential to decouple energy generation from geography, weather, and traditional transmission constraints, creating an entirely new layer of global energy infrastructure.
Overview Energy is building that new layer: satellites that redirect solar energy from geosynchronous orbit to existing terrestrial solar projects using passively safe near-infrared light.
Building a system that has never existed requires people who are comfortable working where physics, engineering, manufacturing, and execution meet. It requires builders who are energized by difficult problems, move comfortably across disciplines, and measure progress by evidence.
Who Thrives Here
We look for people who:
Think from first principles.
Prefer difficult engineering problems over familiar ones.
Build, test, iterate, and learn quickly.
Care deeply about craftsmanship and technical rigor.
Take ownership beyond the boundaries of a job description.
Are excited by the opportunity to create something that has never been built before.
What We Value
Curiosity over credentials
Excellence over perfection
Systems thinking
Relentless experimentation
Deep collaboration
Great companies are often built by people who weren't waiting for the perfect job posting. We're always looking for builders who see the future before it exists - and have the determination to help create it. If that’s you, share your resume with us and we’ll be in touch when the time is right.
