About the role
We’re looking for a technical recruiter to own and drive hiring across our engineering, product, and design teams. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand technical role requirements, craft effective recruiting strategies, and ensure we attract and close world-class talent. You’ll directly shape how we build our talent teams and play a critical role in scaling the company.
This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not currently located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.
What you'll do with us
Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, product, and design roles—from sourcing through offer.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, design interview processes, and meet hiring goals.
Source and engage top technical talent through targeted outreach, referrals, and creative strategies.
Deliver an excellent candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and thoughtful engagement at every stage.
Maintain and share recruiting metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and leadership, serving as a consultative partner on technical talent trends and strategies.
What will set you apart
7+ years of experience in recruiting, with a strong focus on technical roles (engineering, product, or design).
Proven ability to hire top technical talent in competitive markets.
Advanced sourcing skills, including building pipelines of passive candidates.
Familiarity with technical recruiting tools and platforms.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
Experience recruiting in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment preferred.
Compensation
Base salary range: $120,000 – $220,000
This is the base salary range we expect in good faith to pay for this role at the time of posting. Where an offer lands within the range depends on the scope and complexity of work the candidate can own independently and demonstrated depth at this level.
Other compensation and benefits
The range above reflects base salary only. Our offer packages also include equity in the form of stock options, so total compensation for this role will exceed the base salary range.
