- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize in-licensing, co-development, and partnership opportunities that align with organizational objectives and market dynamics in the Middle Eastern pharmaceutical landscape
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, government bodies, and industry stakeholders to establish meaningful and sustainable partnerships
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive intelligence to understand market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities that inform strategic decision-making
- Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, co-development arrangements, and alliance contracts; manage due diligence processes including financial analysis, technical evaluation, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate effectively with research and development, regulatory affairs, legal, manufacturing, and commercial teams to assess feasibility, ensure regulatory compliance, and execute successful business transactions
- Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives aimed at achieving revenue targets and market penetration goals across domestic and export segments
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory shifts to proactively adjust strategies and capitalize on emerging business opportunities
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and professional forums to enhance visibility, expand networks, and establish thought leadership
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the business development function
- Prepare comprehensive business cases, financial projections, and strategic recommendations for senior management review and decision-making
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA or Master's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline (highly desirable)
**Experience**
- Minimum 8-15 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical business development, alliance management, portfolio management, or similar roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector
- Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and executing business deals and strategic partnerships
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in the Middle Eastern or emerging pharmaceutical markets is a significant advantage
