Key Responsibilities
- Manage international logistics operations, with a primary focus on sea transportation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with shipping companies and international freight forwarders.
- Apply knowledge of international commercial terms and international shipping risk management to support logistics operations.
- Negotiate with logistics partners to achieve favorable commercial terms and optimize logistics costs.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure efficient coordination of logistics activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in handling international logistics, particularly sea transportation.
- Well-connected with shipping companies and international freight forwarders.
- Strong knowledge of international commercial terms and international shipping risk management.
- Proven negotiation skills with experience in cost optimization.
- Experience working closely with warehouse operations.
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Malay.
- Strong team player with leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Well-organized with strong documentation skills.
