The SPF team also provides thought leadership to internal and government stakeholders on major critical minerals, energy transition, and trade-enabling infrastructure projects.

Project Finance is a specialized field of finance where financing decisions are based on project-specific cash flows and assets. Associates will participate in EDC’s Project Finance Associate Program (PFAP), which combines structured learning, mentorship by senior team members, regular feedback and hands-on transaction experience in high-impact projects. The program develops project-finance capabilities in areas such as financial modelling and sensitivity analysis, credit structuring, due diligence, legal documentation, and engagement with clients, sponsors, advisors and co-financiers.
