We are looking for an experiencedย Accounting Managerย to lead and manage the complete Indian accounting function. This role requires strong expertise in accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closures, and team management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting accuracy, strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and ensuring timely and compliant financial operations. You will also work closely with auditors, tax consultants, management, and internal stakeholders to support sound financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the completeย Indian Accountingย function and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and support accountants and senior accounting professionals.
- Review bookkeeping activities, accounting entries, ledgers, and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
- Overseeย bank, vendor, and customer reconciliationsย and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Manageย GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, documentation, and related matters.
- Overseeย TDS calculations, payments, return filing, and reconciliations.
- Review monthly and annual financial statements and support theย finalization of accounts.
- Manageย multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions.
- Prepare and reviewย MIS reports, management reports, financial analysis, and accounting insights.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external financial professionals.
- Establish and strengthenย accounting controls, SOPs, review processes, and compliance procedures.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion ofย month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle accounting-related escalations and provide guidance and solutions to the team.
- Support management with financial reporting, planning, analysis, and decision-making.
- Take ownership of department performance, productivity, quality, compliance, and service delivery.
What's Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with strong exposure to Indian accounting operations.
- Proven experience leading or supervising anย accounting team.
- Strong practical knowledge ofย GST, TDS, reconciliations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounts finalization.
- Experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Strong understanding ofย Indian accounting and statutory compliance requirements.
