We are looking for an exceptionalย Art Director / Design Conceptualizerย to lead the creative vision and conceptual development ofย exhibition booths, trade show environments, experiential marketing campaigns, pavilions, branded spaces, and immersive visitor experiences.
This role combinesย creative direction, spatial storytelling, brand experience, design conceptualisation, and execution. You will transform client briefs and business objectives into compelling physical environments that engage audiences while balancing creativity, functionality, technical feasibility, and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead theย creative direction and conceptualisationย of exhibition booths, pavilions, experience centres, conferences, trade shows, and experiential environments.
- Translate client briefs, brand guidelines, business objectives, and audience requirements into compelling spatial concepts.
- Develop innovative design concepts, mood boards, sketches, layouts, 3D concepts, and visual presentations.
- Create immersiveย visitor journeysย that combine storytelling, functionality, brand communication, and engagement.
- Develop distinctive spatial experiences that effectively communicate brand identity and key messages.
- Present creative concepts and design proposals confidently to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Refine concepts based on client feedback while maintaining creative intent and design quality.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, production teams, fabricators, vendors, and project managers to ensure technical feasibility.
- Ensure creative concepts are aligned withย materials, fabrication methods, structural requirements, installation processes, and project budgets.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary creative teams and establish high standards of design excellence.
- Review design outputs, 3D visualisations, drawings, and presentation materials for quality and consistency.
- Support the transition of conceptual designs intoย production-ready and execution-ready solutions.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
- Research emerging technologies, materials, digital experiences, and global trends in exhibition and experiential design.
- Contribute innovative ideas for interactive installations, technology-enabled experiences, and memorable brand environments.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 8+ years of experienceย in exhibition design, experiential marketing, trade shows, spatial design, brand experience, or a closely related creative discipline.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-qualityย exhibition booths, experiential spaces, trade show environments, pavilions, or branded installations.
- Proven experience leading creative direction and managing multiple design projects.
- Strong ability to transform concepts and ideas into immersive physical environments.
- Excellent understanding ofย spatial storytelling, visitor experience design, brand experience, and creative conceptualisation.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, production processes, structural considerations, and installation requirements.
- Ability to balanceย creative ambition, functionality, commercial objectives, and production feasibility.
- Strong client presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary creative, production, fabrication, and project teams.
- Hands-on proficiency inย 3ds Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray.
- Familiarity withย Rhino and Figmaย would be an advantage.
- Experience working on international exhibitions or experiential projects acrossย North America, Europe, the Middle East, APAC, or other global marketsย is desirable.
- Strong awareness of emerging technologies and their application in experiential marketing and physical brand environments.
- Excellent visual judgement, attention to detail, creativity, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with the ability to inspire multidisciplinary creative teams.
- Ability to work effectively in aย remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
