BEST Logistics Group is now seeking a Weekend Shift Shop Lead for our Kernersville Fleet Maintenance Department
Best Fleet Maintenance in Kernersville, NC is seeking a leader for our fast-paced shop, supporting the 3 fleets of trucks owned and operated by BEST Logistics Group, along with all of our company-owned vehicles and equipment. The Shop Lead position is imperative in providing top-level customer service and communications to our drivers & operations teams, as well as ensuring the fleet is operating safely and efficiently.
Weekend shift runs 5a to 5p, Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
Primary Responsibilities:
Order parts as needed
Handle breakdown calls during shift hours
Provide guidance, assistance, and training to our technicians
Assign, monitor, and evaluate work
Perform other duties and tasks as needed

Skills Required:
Must have 2+ years of experience in a lead/supervisory role within a tractor-trailer maintenance department
General knowledge of preventative maintenance for Class 8 Tractor Trailers
Be a good communicator – both verbally, and electronically (Email, phone call and text) and with good listening skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook and general Google researching)
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage tasks until they are complete
Knowledge of FMCSA maintenance guidelines
Good customer service skills
