The Job
Our Demi Chef de Partie Pastry is passionate about creating exceptional desserts and delivering the high culinary standards Maison CouCou is known for. They are dedicated, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, supporting the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie while ensuring every dessert is prepared with precision and consistency. Responsibilities
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while supporting a collaborative and respectful kitchen environment
Prepare high-quality dishes while following recipes, standards, and the restaurant’s culinary vision
Support and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging development within the pastry team
Adapt to changing priorities during service while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail
Take pride in delivering exceptional food experiences by contributing to guest satisfaction and overall kitchen performance
Requirements
Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie/Pastry, Chef de Partie/Pastry, or in a similar role within a high-quality hospitality environment
Solid knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, food safety procedures, and HACCP standards
Passion for creating high-quality desserts with strong attention to detail, consistency, and presentation
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing kitchen demands
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to menu innovation.
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Located in or nearby Gibraltar
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
