PRODUCT
About Incision

Operating rooms are under pressure. Staffing shortages, increasing procedural complexity, and growing demand for care make it harder than ever for hospitals to keep perioperative teams prepared and supported.

At Incision, we help hospitals improve how perioperative teams access knowledge, learn, and perform. Incision Assist helps surgical teams work with greater confidence and consistency by providing instant access to the information they need before and during procedures. Through MySPD and Academy, we support sterile processing and perioperative professionals with practical, accredited education that strengthens knowledge and performance across the surgical pathway.

Today, hospitals in more than 20 countries use Incision to onboard staff faster, preserve critical knowledge, strengthen team collaboration, and improve operational performance.

Working at Incision
  • Impact & Quality: We strive for innovation and excellence in everything we do.

  • Learning & Growing: We share knowledge, learn from one another, and continuously develop ourselves.

  • Collaboration: We work together, support each other, and celebrate our successes as one team.

Why we are hiring

We are entering an exciting new phase of growth. As adoption of Incision Assist accelerates, we are investing heavily in product innovation, AI-powered knowledge delivery, and expanding our commercial presence in one of the world's most competitive healthcare technology markets.

Your role

This role reports to the Head of Product and combines strategic product management with hands-on product ownership. You will be responsible for deeply understanding user needs, defining and prioritising the roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact product features. This role focuses on high-impact, customer-facing product strategy in the operating room, where reliability and workflow performance are critical. You will work closely with the Tech, Implementation, and Commercial teams to ensure Incision Assist continues to drive measurable outcomes in surgical performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Translate Incision’s vision into a clear product roadmap that reflects customer needs and business priorities.

  • Act as the bridge between users, business, and technology, ensuring the right problems are being solved effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to align on strategic direction and portfolio priorities.

  • Ensure high-quality requirements and clarity for the development team, supported by Tech leads, for day-to-day backlog execution.

  • Engage with customers, clinicians, and hospital project teams to collect feedback, validate assumptions, and test new ideas.

  • Partner with Sales, Implementation and Customer Success to ensure customer feedback is captured and acted on.

  • Use data and insights to measure impact, guide prioritization, and continuously improve product performance.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on product plans, launches, and updates.

  • Ensure domain strategy supports company-wide priorities and is aligned with the overall product portfolio.

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Owner roles, ideally within SaaS or digital healthcare.

  • Able to write clear, implementation-ready requirements (user stories with precise acceptance criteria, edge cases, and data/API considerations) and to engage credibly with engineers on architecture and trade-offs.

  • Proven experience owning and delivering a product end-to-end in an Agile environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex workflows into elegant product solutions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable working with clinical, technical, and business teams.

  • Passionate about improving healthcare performance and helping surgical teams deliver better patient outcomes.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable: able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Experience within healthcare technology or healthcare services is strongly preferred.

What we offer
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare.

  • Competitive compensation.

  • Professional development opportunities, with room for continuous learning, training, and career growth.

  • A role within a fast-growing international healthtech scale-up.

  • Collaboration with an ambitious international team working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and education.

  • A pension plan, commuting allowance, and access to OpenUp.

  • Regular team activities, knowledge-sharing sessions, and social events.

  • A modern workplace, including a laptop and home office equipment.

  • A diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
