Receptionist.

FULL TIMEON-SITE

Advanced Space | Full-time | Onsite

We’re going to the Moon. Think you’ve got what it takes?

About the Role

At Advanced Space, we're enabling humanity's return to the Moon and building the technologies that will take us to Mars and beyond. We're looking for a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and callers while supporting the daily operations of our workplace.

In this role, you'll deliver a professional and welcoming front-desk experience while supporting facility security through visitor screening and registration, access-control procedures, camera monitoring, telephone coverage, and mail and package handling. You'll help maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment while ensuring visitors are appropriately verified and established procedures are consistently followed.

We're looking for someone who is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and service-minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.

About Advanced Space

Advanced Space exists to enable the sustainable exploration, development, and settlement of space through innovative software, mission services, and technology solutions. As the owner and operator of NASA's CAPSTONE™ mission and the Prime Contractor for AFRL's Oracle mission, we're helping shape the future of cislunar exploration while supporting commercial, civil, and national security customers.

Our team combines deep technical expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset. We move quickly, collaborate across disciplines, and empower every team member to make meaningful contributions. If you're passionate about supporting a team doing challenging work and helping create a welcoming, professional workplace, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Actually Do

Create a welcoming front-desk experience.

Greet visitors, vendors, and contractors promptly and professionally. Verify identities, appointments, hosts, and visit purposes; register visitors; issue and collect badges; notify employees of arrivals; and coordinate directions or escorts as needed. Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure site access, badging, and escort requirements are followed.

Support facility security and safety.

Monitor CCTV and camera feeds, access-control alarms, and other assigned security systems. Identify and promptly report suspicious activity, safety concerns, access-control issues, and system malfunctions. Document incidents and unusual events accurately, follow established emergency and evacuation procedures, and escalate concerns to the appropriate security, facilities, or management contact.

Manage telephone and general reception duties.

Answer, screen, and route incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system. Provide approved information, take clear and complete messages, and manage front-desk email, voicemail, and other communications in a timely and professional manner. Support routine administrative tasks related to reception and visitor services.

Coordinate mail, packages, and deliveries.

Receive, log, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. Notify recipients of arrivals and maintain secure custody of items until pickup or handoff. Coordinate outgoing mail, courier pickups, shipping labels, and package handoffs as assigned. Follow established procedures for unexpected, damaged, suspicious, or improperly addressed packages.

Maintain an organized and professional workplace.

Keep the lobby and reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. Maintain accurate records, handle sensitive information discreetly, and follow established workplace, access-control, and safety procedures. Remain attentive and organized while balancing competing priorities throughout the day.
