Are you a qualified solicitor looking to take the next step in your personal injury career? We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Lawyer to join our London team but able to work North-West based, working alongside an experienced Lead Lawyer on a high-profile client account.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2-4 years' PQE to gain exposure to a varied caseload of Employer's Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims, ranging from lower-value matters through to complex, high-value cases worth millions of pounds.
Working closely with the Lead and wider specialist team, you will play a key role in managing and progressing a diverse portfolio of personal injury claims while delivering exceptional service to a valued client.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with and managing EL/PL personal injury claims.
- Handling cases spanning a broad range of values, from straightforward matters to million-pound disputes.
- Supporting the strategic management of a major client account.
- Investigating liability, quantum, and coverage-related issues.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
We are keen to hear from qualified solicitors who can demonstrate:
- 2-4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience handling defendant personal injury claims.
- Strong knowledge of EL/PL litigation.
- An understanding of coverage disputes, or a willingness to further develop knowledge in this area.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and case management skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
