Reporting to: Finance Director
Location: Nicosia (with visits to Limassol)
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Prepare monthly project reports including performance, cash spending and cash planning.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse actual vs. budget/forecast variances and provide clear commentary for management review.
- Maintain and update financial reporting templates.
- Ensure accounting records are up to date and accurate.
- Assist in maintaining key financial controls and flagging exceptions for senior review.
- Assistance in the preparation and update of project Financial models.
- Liaise with external auditors, supporting them throughout the audit process.
Requirements for the position:
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role or audit experience with a Big Four Audit Firm.
- Industry experience is advantageous.
- ACCA or ACA member.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting under Cypriot legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software; SAP Business One is preferable.
- Excellent command of Greek and English.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
