CADD Tech
Cardinal Civil Resources is currently looking for an employee with high integrity and an excellent attention to detail in order to fill a position as a CADD Tech.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Ideal candidate would serve as a Survey CADD Operator & possess a superior skill set that includes:
- Perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCAD
- Daily CADD production to complete Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys. In addition, drafting of Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys etc.
- Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (Primary)
- GIS (Secondary)
- Attention to detail and self-motivated with the ability to think critically
- Performs mathematical calculations and checking of field data
- Reads and understands plans and specifications
- Know basic sources of measurement errors
- Basic understanding of geometry and grading
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience

- A high school education or equivalent is required including a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Previous experience working in Civil Engineering environment
- Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required
- Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills
- Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential requirements
- Valid driver's license with insurable record
- Background Check and Drug Testing Required
