We are seeking a Industrial Insulation & Fabrication Technician to join our federal team at our York, PA location. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and organized 6S environment. Responsible for participating in continuous improvement and Lean Kaizen Events. Understanding the criticality of proper quality-controlled documentation. Knowledge and proficiency in print reading. Responsible for operating overhead/jib cranes and rigging of products. Responsible for reviewing and signing timecards weekly. Accountable for adhering to and promoting compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Responsible for upholding the principles of duties as listed below.

Working from complex mechanical, piping, and isometric drawings

- Mathematical fabrication to accurately obtain values

- Acoustic Insulation
- Layout and cut insulation for minimum waste
- Install using pin welder or banding
- Some situations require glue and lagging
- Caulking seams
- Thermal Insulation
- Layout for minimum waste
- Attach insulation per requirements using glue adhesive
- Attach insulation to fit round and flat surfaces
- Apply lagging cloth utilizing Vimasco adhesive or 520 adhesive as required
- Apply fire retardant paint to lagging cloth per print requirements
- Apply dampening tiles with two-part epoxy as required
- Tubular Insulation
- Cut and apply insulation as required
- Apply lagging cloth per print requirements
- Apply lagging cloth utilizing Vimasco adhesive or 520 adhesive as required
- Apply fire retardant paint to lagging cloth per print requirements

Required Qualifications:
- 2-years of experience in mechanical insulation or building trades (Preferred)

- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area and/or equipment
- Ability to read and interpret a measuring tape accurately to measure and cut out materials
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
