Role Summary
We are looking for a Security Assurance Specialist to support Case IQ’s customer-facing security assurance process under the direction of the Director of Information Security. This remote-first role is a strong fit for an early-career professional who is interested in information security, customer assurance, documentation, and supporting enterprise sales within a growing security program.
In this role, you will help complete customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests, maintain an approved response and evidence library, keep the Trust Center current, and coordinate with Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, IT, and Sales. While the role is remote, we are seeking candidates based in the Ottawa area.
AI-Forward Ways of Working
At Case IQ, AI is part of how we build. We look for engineers who can use AI-assisted development and agentic workflows with strong technical judgment: defining clear intent and constraints, validating outputs, protecting customer data, and keeping humans accountable for production decisions. You will help establish practical patterns for responsible AI use across discovery, design, implementation, testing, observability, and operations.
What You'll Do
- Support customer security questionnaires, RFPs, due diligence requests, and follow-up questions using approved content and guidance
- Maintain an organized library of approved questionnaire responses, security documentation, and supporting evidence
- Coordinate with Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, IT, and Sales to gather accurate answers and identify the right reviewers
- Track customer security requests, deadlines, owners, and outstanding items so requests move forward predictably
- Help maintain the Case IQ Trust Center by keeping published security and compliance information current and flagging gaps for review
- Prepare clear customer-facing responses and help route requests for documents such as policies, certifications, and privacy materials
- Learn Case IQ’s products, security practices, and compliance commitments well enough to recognize when a request needs specialist review
- Help document repeatable Customer Assurance workflows, response standards, and lessons learned
What Success Looks Like
- 30 Days: Complete onboarding and build familiarity with Case IQ’s products, security documentation, compliance commitments, customer assurance process, key stakeholders, and response standards. Shadow questionnaire and customer-request work, review the response library and Trust Center, and begin drafting straightforward responses for review.
- 60 Days: Support smaller and standard questionnaires and customer requests under close review, using approved responses and evidence. Keep request tracking current, help organize the response library, and contribute proposed Trust Center or documentation updates.
- 90 Days: Handle routine requests with regular manager review and confidently route complex or non-standard questions to the appropriate subject-matter expert. Maintain accurate status reporting and identify recurring customer questions, content gaps, or process improvements.
- 6 Months: Manage well-defined recurring Customer Assurance tasks with guidance, maintain accurate and current customer-facing security information, and contribute to smoother coordination between Sales and internal subject-matter experts.
- 1 Year: Operate as a reliable Customer Assurance partner for standard requests, keep the response library and Trust Center well organized, and support continuous improvement of the customer security review process while escalating complex matters appropriately.

- Good organizational and project-tracking habits, with the ability to manage several requests and deadlines with guidance
