We are looking for an ​Administrative Assistant​ to complete our consultants Workforce Management Service to support the ​CSC Projects, Departments and Management Support Offices​ of the European Space Agency (ESA) at their location in ​Noordwijk, The Netherlands​.  

Please note that this position is initially for a 3-month period, with the possibility of extension. 

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: 

• Analyse incoming e-mail correspondence and documentation and managing distribution of outgoing e-mail correspondence and documentation of e.g. Head of Department:   

• Act as the focal point of contact and co-ordinator for general communications with senior management;  

• When requested draft and distribute responses to communications addressed to senior management;  

• Confidentiality needs to be addressed.   

• Arrivals and departures of guests of senior management and process and provide the active follow up of site access;   

• Provide support to the Head of Department for planning and organising events including related missions E.g. for launches, industry days, ESA Council, off-site workshops;   

• Coordinate actions with other admin support, both in and outside the Department; 

• Creating and updating the organigram of the Department.

• At least a Secondary Education diploma; 

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience; 

• A sound and proven experience in working in an administration service; 

• A sound and proven experience in providing a customer-oriented service; 

• A demonstrated customer, service-oriented experience and a team player; 

• A knowledge of supporting a project-oriented and/or R&D environment is an asset; 

• A basic understanding of the telecom market is an asset; 

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; other languages are an asset; 

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
