THE ROLE

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll play an important role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly by accurately processing and allocating customer payments across our Australian and New Zealand businesses. This is a highly administrative and data-focused role where attention to detail is key.

Working as part of a supportive Accounts Receivable team, you'll help maintain accurate records, process daily transactions and assist with month-end activities to ensure customer accounts are up to date.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Process and allocate customer payments accurately
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate payment discrepancies
  • Process accounts receivable transactions, including credits, refunds and direct debits
  • Follow up payment information and outstanding remittances
  • Support month-end activities while maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets

ABOUT YOU

You're someone who enjoys staying organised, working with numbers and getting things done. You have a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and enjoy being part of a supportive team. You can manage a steady workflow, take ownership of your tasks, and aren't afraid to ask questions to build your knowledge and confidence.

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or a similar administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using computer systems
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

BENEFITS:

We offer more than just a role:

  • 27 days of annual leave per year.
  • Hybrid work flexibility with a convenient office location with parking on site and a short walk from Ellerslie Station
  • Health insurance from your first day, with a company‑funded subsidy for Southern Cross or Marram.
  • A ‘Dress for your Day’ policy
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary careers, regardless of gender and with no minimum tenure and 4 weeks paid leave for secondary carers
  • Ongoing training to help you develop and grow with real career development opportunities
  • Rewards program, including a range of discounts from a variety of retailers
  • Regular social events, wellbeing initiatives and team activities through our Social Club and Pit Crew
  • An extensive range of other employee benefits.
