LiveRamp, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend systems that power our data connectivity solutions for clients worldwide. You will work with a collaborative team of engineers to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications and services. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver seamless and innovative data infrastructure products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that support our platform’s features and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Optimize existing code and systems for performance, reliability, and security
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
Help define and implement best practices in backend development
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
Proven experience developing backend systems using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js)
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful API design
Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related infrastructure components
Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
Solid understanding of application security, scalability, and performance tuning
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
