Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for highly skilled technical professionals across defense, aerospace, and government contracting programs. This role requires deep knowledge of recruiting, and familiarity with DoD environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and operation roles supporting defense and government programs (e.g., manufacturing engineers and technicians, software engineers, computer vision engineers, mechanical engineers, mission operations, and technical operations).
- Partner closely with to understand technical requirements, clearance needs, and program timelines.
- Source candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking events, and direct outreach.
- Screen candidates for technical competency, cultural fit, and eligibility to work on defense-related programs.
- Guide candidates through interview, offer, and onboarding processes, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Stay current on defense labor market trends, clearance requirements, and compliance regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFCCP).
- Support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at recruiting events, career fairs, and industry conferences.
What You’ll Need:
- 3–8 years of experience in recruiting, with at least some focus on defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting.
- Start-up exposure
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and business operations.
- Experience working with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GreenHouse).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
