Senior Solution Architect for ICCF Institutional Global Custody | SEB, Solna.

Our goal is to deliver unparalleled digital experiences that meet the ever-changing demands of our clients and leverage the latest technological advancements. 

Our Execution and Post Trade Services (EPTS) domain delivers post-trade products and services to a variety of client types and segments for example, Large Corporates, Financial Institutions, Retail Customers, Private Wealth Management and Family Office.  

What will you be doing?  

Lead the way: As a Solution Architect, you'll be instrumental in guiding our teams towards adopting and implementing our defined architecture in their daily development activities. Your expertise will serve as the compass that ensures we're always moving in the right direction. 

Build bridges: You'll act as a trusted advisor, fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders across Business, Business Operations, and Technology. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial in aligning our architecture with the evolving needs of our Custody services. 

Drive innovation: Join a tribe that values automation, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You'll play a pivotal role in developing flexible, modern, and sustainable solutions that empower our customers to achieve their goals.  

Your responsibility will be to:   

• Work as a solution architect in the ART Institutional Global Custody 

• Be part of the architect team in the Custody area 

• Be part of the SEB architect community and interact with other architects in relevant parts of SEB to be able to align and materialize your architecture roadmaps.   

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:  

• At least five years of experience from working as an Architect and are passionate about creating business value by establishing robust and flexible architecture that involves different technologies and platforms, 

• Experience from working at a bank, a financial institution or similar, 

• Enjoy working with both strategic- and operational architecture, 

• Have a bachelor’s or master´s degree in a relevant field, 

• Are pragmatic in your solution ideas when you need to be and can visualize and clearly articulate consequences of various technologies and platforms (both verbally and in written form), 

• Possess excellent networking and communication skills both within business and IT, 

• Have a strong interest in keeping updated on the trends in industry and technology  

• Understanding of Responsible AI and practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, 

• Familiarity with generative AI, agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and the ability to identify relevant business use cases. 

• Experience of working with APIs, GCP, Data, application development and procured IT systems.  

• Are fluent in English,  

• Have a strong developer background. 

It is an advantage if you have:  

• Have an AI portfolio to show, showcasing your experience in designing or integrating AI-enabled capabilities into secure and scalable enterprise solutions. 

• Have an interest in and experience from working with Custody  

• Experience from working with securities, equities and/or derivatives
