What you’ll do
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Take ownership of architectural decisions, overseeing implementation while ensuring maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Support the development team in delivering high-impact initiatives on time.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while maintaining an engaging and motivating work environment.
- Have fun.
What we’re looking for
- A strong technical background with 5+ years of hands-on development experience
- 2+ years in a leadership role, managing engineering teams, overseeing development processes, and driving technical decisions.
- Experience in customer facing systems is desired
- Hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Ability to shape and adapt team processes and ways of working to align with the team needs
- Proven ability to mentor engineers by providing technical guidance, fostering critical thinking, and enhancing decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders and external business partners.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives from inception to successful delivery, collecting business requirements and converting them into actionable technical ones.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures.
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices within large-scale ecosystems.
