· Justify capital expenditures (CapEx) for new machinery and equipment purchases.

· Determine and monitor overall production capacity.

4. Safety & Ergonomics

· Assess employee workstations and apply ergonomic principles to prevent repetitive strain injuries and improve workplace safety and comfort.

· Enforce OSHA compliance across all automated machinery cells and production areas.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

· At least 5 years of experience, preferably in semiconductor, optoelectronics, and volume engineering.

· Proven experience in production line setup, capacity planning, and resource management.

· Proficiency with CAD/AutoCAD tools for factory layout and design.

· Strong background in workflow optimization, time studies, and motion studies.

· Hands-on experience implementing Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).

· Experience tracking production costs against budgets and justifying capital expenditures (CapEx) for new machinery.

· Knowledge of ergonomic best practices and OSHA compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.

· Experience with regular data analysis and waste reduction strategies.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
