Job Title: Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) Job Category: Security Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a highly motivated Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join our team in Reston, VA. The CSSO's primary function is to provide multi-discipline security support for one or more of the customer’s Special Access Programs (SAPs). The position will provide “day-to-day” multi-discipline analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. Responsibilities: Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM and SAP policies Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding Special Access Program (SAP), and collateral data. Provide day-to-day security support Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, and follow-on facility reviews Monitor, report and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff Conduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education & awareness program Conduct annual self-inspections for all SAP & SCI activities along with documenting all deficiencies and tracking them on a corrective action plan (CAP) until closed Responsible for verifying clearances and accesses prior to granting access and assigning PINs in the SAPF & SCIF intrusion detection system (IDS) and access control system (ACS) Assist in the development and assign reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) Responsible for conducting annual inventory in all Special Programs area Coordinate, write, and process for approval all transportation plans and provide courier briefings for all courier missions Conduct all SAP indoctrinations, training, complete SAPIAs and all JADE actions Manage all SAP & SCI Foreign Travel/Contact notifications, including travel debriefing, CI briefings (if required) and notifications to the SSO office and JADE file uploads. A Process/coordinate incoming and outgoing classified visit certifications; and provide oversight for secure area visits and/or entry control Qualifications: Required: Minimum three to five (3-5) years relevant security experience working in industrial security Active Top Secret Clearance Must be able to successfully obtain SAP & SCI access Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to be a self-starter and work independently Solid communication and interpersonal skills Possession of excellent judgment, decision-making, teamwork, and customer service skills Desired: Successful completion of CDSE courses, specifically Special Access Programs, Physical Security and General Security Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
