We are looking for a senior Customer Manager who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. Using automation, data, AI, and cloud, supported by hands-on guidance, we help banks modernize their core, strengthen trust, and deliver greater impact across the banking experience.
When joining Tieto Banktech as a Customer Manager, you will:
- Plan and execute sales activities for existing Tieto customers, grow the sales pipeline, conduct market research, and develop strategies for assigned regions and customers;
- Manage day-to-day customer engagement, including regular meetings and calls; build strong relationships and maintain ongoing communication with middle and senior management; and support customers in developing payment strategies and business cases;
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to initiate new sales and new projects;
- Travel for business and participate in payments industry conferences;
- Prepare proposals and agreements, taking into account project profitability, legal considerations, and compliance with Tieto guidelines;
- Develop and expand cooperation with Tieto’s regional and global partners;
- Monitor the alignment of products and services with market requirements.
Who we are looking for:
- At least three years of experience as a Sales Manager, Account Manager, Project Manager, or Business Analyst;
- Good understanding of the payments industry;
- Strong understanding of AI tools and the ability to use them effectively in day-to-day work;
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability and willingness to build long-term customer relationships;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong presentation skills;
- Results-oriented and highly motivated;
- Experience in IT product and service sales or in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
- Language skills: English and Russian, both spoken and written; Latvian is considered an advantage.
