Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Associate QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications through automated and manual testing practices. Prior experience in Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate, or Financial Services is highly preferred. Primary Functions and Responsibilities: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Python. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing of web-based applications. Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Create and maintain reusable automation scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvements. Log, track, and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA. Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other QA team members to ensure quality objectives are achieved. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Prepare and communicate testing status, metrics, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders. Required Qualifications- Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant QA Automation certifications are a plus. Experience 4-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. Proven hands-on experience with: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Python based Test Automation Frameworks Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and quality engineering best practices. Ability to create and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
