Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Retail Hardgoods Salesperson is responsible for selling apparel, gift, technical, and ski hardgoods merchandise at the Snow Park Lodge location at Deer Valley Resort. RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete all credit card and gift card sales in a timely manner Open and close the store according to operational guidelines Receive, stock, and display merchandise in alignment with retail merchandising and visual standards on a daily basis Put away overstock in onsite and offsite storage rooms once the sales floor is adequately replenished Maintain store visual and cleanliness standards throughout shift, ensuring a world-class shopping experience for all guests Provide exceptional guest service by addressing guest needs and suggesting products. Maintain basic knowledge of general information about Deer Valley ski resort and be capable of directing guests and answering their questions Participate in Retail Pop-Up Events including outdoor tent activations Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience with custom ski boot fitting and custom footbed creation required Previous sales experience and knowledge of apparel, gloves, eyewear, and ski hardgoods preferred Must be able to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and during peak holiday seasons Ability to lift and/or carry between 25-30 lbs Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time Ability to walk up and down staircases, carry boxes, products, and other store related items Ability to climb a ladder when needed Ability to work independently and with a team of associates in a positive and productive manner DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: 11/13/2026 – 4/30/2027 Only Part Time positions available PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer Find a great job at a resort that’s not only one of the best in the world, but it also feels a lot like home.
