The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor provides leadership and direction to a team of 25 + colleagues within a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing workflow, and driving team performance, this role ensures operational targets are met while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement. The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor plays a key role in supporting operational strategy, developing talent, and enhancing efficiency across the distribution center. ** Availability to work 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:30 PM-1:00 AM with flexibility and /or weekends. Hours subject to change based on business needs.*** Primary Responsibilities Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products. Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise. Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded. Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations. Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section. Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics. Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success. Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of work experience in in a Warehouse or Distribution Center Minimum 2 years of work experience in a leadership role and managing a team Experience with continuous improvement methodology Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of business intelligence Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills Experience in Lean and Kaizen Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Associate degree preferred. Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $93,574.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
