The role requires regular presence on the shop floor, sales coaching of the store teams, and close follow-up of sales figures.
Reporting to the COO, you are the operational link between headquarters and the shops.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit the shops on a regular basis for constant on-the-floor follow-up
- Coach the sales teams on sales technique, customer service, and reaching individual targets
- Track daily KPIs per shop (turnover, conversion rate, average basket) and flag deviations
- Build corrective action plans with store managers in case of underperformance
- Ensure brand standards are applied: merchandising, shop presentation, customer experience
- Run regular check-ins with each shop team (briefings, debriefings)
- Support onboarding and training of new retail staff
- Relay shop needs to headquarters (product, stock, operations)
- Report to the COO on performance and actions taken, with supporting figures
- 5+ years of experience in retail sales, ideally as a store manager or area/regional manager
- Proven experience coaching and leading in-store sales teams
- Strong ability to read sales figures and turn them into concrete actions
- Field-based mindset: available for frequent travel between the 4 shops
- Experience in design, interior, or premium/luxury segments is an asset
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
- Attention to detail, rigor, and autonomy
