This includes the creation and distribution of the daily snow and weather report, writing and recording messages and assistance to the social media team. Additionally, the Snow Reporter supports the Marketing Team with internal and external marketing campaigns, strategies, events and general mountain information. Supports the guest service team by providing relevant resort information and potentially assist in product sales, lift tickets, season passes, and lessons. Requirements: College degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or journalism. Minimum of one year experience in public relations, communications or media relations. Basic knowledge of online programming and social media. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be available to work flexible hours, including very early mornings (5:30AM daily start time) and some weekends/holidays. Strong writing skills mandatory· Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability. Knowledge of ski area operations and the resort industry is helpful Hourly pay rate: $22.77 to $24.58 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
