Has responsibility for CUC Staffing plans, Schedules, Quality Assurance, PPL, Attendance, Coaching and Development of staff. Work collaboratively with staff, peers, and department managers to achieve goals set forth by CUC Manager and Medical Director. - Bachelor's Degree in nursing required. - Minimum12 months of supervisory experience preferred, prior experience in a leadership role preferred. - A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. - Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends) to meet patient care needs. - Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of pediatric growth and development and child/family responses to fear, illness, injury and hospitalization. - Specific skills, experience or accreditation in pediatric clinics preferred. This knowledge is usually acquired through a minimum of three years experience in pediatric nursing. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively deal with intra and interdepartmental problems and communicate with other staff, physicians, health team members, visitors and consumers. - Requires good analytical skills necessary to prioritize work, problem solve and develop systems to improve accuracy and efficiency, assess complex patient conditions effectively and to develop comprehensive plans of care. - Synthesizes multiple sources of information to assist in the resolution of human responses to complex problems. - An understanding of CHW health care delivery system and the impact of other health care delivery systems on the patient and family. - The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services. - Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, over 80 percent, of the assigned work period. - BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required. - License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin required.
