This position is responsible for identifying needed prep and leading the line during service. You will be responsible for food preparation, presentation, and keeping the kitchen clean. If you have a love for learning, this is the job for you. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces. Ensure all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards. Work in close liaison with chef/sous chef. Cooking and Assembling Dishes - Cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Assembles dishes with attention to presentation and quality. Maintains a clean and organized workstation. Follows sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment. Responsible for inventory and stock management by assisting in receiving and storing deliveries and alerting leadership when inventory stock is low or expired. All sensory skills needed. There is a possibility of outdoor work during summer & shoulder seasons.
