Employment Status: Seasonal Fulltime Wage Range: $15.00 to $18.00 + tips Minimum Age: 18 Background Check Required: No Driver Verification Required: No Position Summary: Responsible for the early morning setup and execution of the cafeteria's breakfast service. This role is ideal for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for high-quality food preparation and customer service. The opener ensures the cafeteria is fully stocked, clean, and ready to provide a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all resort guests. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Arrive on time for early morning shifts to execute all daily opening procedures, including turning on equipment, setting up serving lines, and ensuring all stations are prepared for breakfast service. Prepare and execute food items according to established recipes, procedures, and safe food handling practices. This includes cooking breakfast staples and preparing grab-and-go items. Maintain a well-stocked and organized work area throughout the shift. This involves rotating inventory, restocking supplies, and preparing the station for the next shift. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including daily cleaning and sanitization of workstations, equipment, and utensils. Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to all guests, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience. Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications- Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided) Technical- Cooking Skills/Basic kitchen skills Physical Capabilities- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Additional- Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.
