We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer based in the greater Philadelphia area who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with customers, and having the independence to manage their day in the field. In this role, you’ll be a trusted technical partner to our customers, helping keep critical laboratory and process equipment operating safely, reliably, and at peak performance. Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair laboratory and process equipment. Diagnose equipment performance issues and recommend effective solutions. Provide on-site calibration services at high-volume customer locations. Deliver a professional, responsive, and customer-focused service experience. What You Bring Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills. Experience servicing, calibrating, troubleshooting, or repairing analytical, laboratory, or similar technical equipment. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field preferred. An Associate degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered. 3-7 years of related technical service, calibration, repair, or equipment troubleshooting experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a broader technical team. Proficiency with standard spreadsheet and word-processing applications. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 75%. Salary Range: $57,100.00-$76,100.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position. Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards. We require all employees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and regulatory orders. Our reputation for honesty, integrity and high ethics is as important to us as our reputation for making innovative sensing solutions. Teledyne is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status, age, or any other characteristic or non-merit based factor made unlawful by federal, state, or local laws.
