What You’ll Do Develop and innovate new wafer fabrication processes to enable the technology roadmap. Design and execute experiments, analyze data, draw conclusions, and clearly document and communicate results. Establish the feasibility of new processes through hands-on processing of pilot lots using production equipment. Characterize process results using quantitative metrology tools. Automate, optimize, and improve established manufacturing processes. Transition process knowledge to sustainment engineers and technicians. Specify, procure, and qualify new equipment as needed to support development activities. Partner with tool design engineering to develop fixtures and equipment modifications.
