Job Description: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Radiology & Interventional Radiology New York Health/Imaging | Patchogue, NY Schedule: Monday-Friday In this role, you will: Supervise and monitor patients receiving radiology contrast, promptly assessing and addressing concerns or reactions. Conduct pre-procedure calls to review instructions, answer questions, and assess patient readiness. Follow up with patients after procedures to assess recovery, identify potential complications, and reinforce aftercare instructions. Assist with IV placement for imaging studies and procedures as needed. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, patient communication, procedure notes, and interventions. We’re looking for: A master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies. Active New York State licensure as an NP or PA and applicable national certification. Strong patient assessment, communication, and care coordination skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a procedural setting. Availability to work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. The ability to assist with patient lifting, movement, and transfers and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
