What You'll Do As a Development Tools Software Engineering Graduate Intern, you will: Contribute to the development and optimization of software engineering tools, including analyzers, compilers, debuggers, and performance profiling solutions. Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams to align tool capabilities with evolving platform and business requirements. Learn and apply GPU optimization techniques through practical projects and real-world case studies. Support toolchain integration efforts, conduct performance analysis, and implement feature enhancements that improve developer productivity and software quality. Participate in software development, testing, debugging, and validation activities to ensure reliable and efficient tool functionality. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Completed Bachelor's degree and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 0-1 years of programming experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, research, or hands-on training. Programming proficiency in Python, C, and/or C++. Basic understanding of GPU architecture and parallel computing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with software development methodologies, workflows, and development tools. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to AI programming concepts and experience with AI/ML frameworks. Familiarity with Intel development tools such as oneAPI, VTune Profiler, or related performance analysis tools. Ability to work both independently and within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
