Position Summary: Key Responsibility: Adjunct Instructors deliver Information Technology training in a variety of content areas using a wide range of media and teaching methods. To meet the needs of our students and client organizations, Corporate and Continuing Education instructors have relevant workplace/professional experience and bring real world knowledge into the learning environment. Required Qualifications: Five years of prior-related work experience. Substitute of Experience for Education Permitted: No Preferred Qualifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud Professional, Java and/or Python, Microsoft Data Analytics, IT certifications will be considered a plus. The position requires the following responsibilities: Classroom/online expectations to arrive 15 minutes before the class begins Classroom/online maintenance is of the utmost importance Classroom/online management to ensure all students meet their learning objectives Complete required Canvas LMS information including attendance, evaluations and grading by the end of the course Training methods are appropriate to the course curriculum Provide instructor-led delivery and on occasions webinar delivery Prepare students by providing expertise in applicable certification exams Prepare students to acquire the skills necessary for a career in the IT workforce.
