Recommended number of responsibilities is 6 but some jobs may require more responsibilities. • Support multiple products to achieve department and company performance goals. • Provide support to Production and continuously make efforts to improve the current process for cost efficiency and cycle time reduction (5S, Lean). • Identify, troubleshoot and effectively communicate issues on the manufacturing floor • Implement corrective actions in a timely manner for product yield and quality improvements. • Execute change ECOs for product improvements. Actively work with cross-functional teams (program managers, planners, buyers and document control) to implement the changes, correctly and independently. • Maintain and update manufacturing documentation (assembly, alignment and test) for optical, mechanical and electrical designs for fiber and/or solid state laser systems (system and sub system level). • Perform/manage periodic maintenance and calibration of equipment needed for the manufacturing process (tooling, test fixtures, equipment) • Travel Requirements: Up to 5% of Travel is required.
