The Education Program Lead Coordinator will assist General Chemistry Lab Supervisor with everyday Chemistry needs; assist in the development, implementation, and setup of general chemistry labs; assist with the development and preparation of teaching aids including laboratory manuals, Carmen assignments and laboratory rubrics; provide mentoring to teaching assistants, monitor Teaching Assistant (TA) adherence to grading policies and deadlines; assist Gen Chem Lab Supervisor and TA training coordinator with the training and mentoring of graduate students, undergraduate students and staff teaching assistants; develop ongoing TA training materials; manage and facilitate staff meetings; assist with responding to inquiries regarding Gen or Org Chem courses; other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED. 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience is required. Desired: Bachelor's Degree with a Major in chemistry or biochemistry. Previous teaching experience in a university setting.
