Job Title: Researcher 1-Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: CCC | Comprehensive Cancer Center Scope/Summary: The Researcher 1 will support research efforts in the laboratory of Dr. Natalia Pakharukova by participating in the planning, execution, and analysis of studies focused on understanding the mechanisms of GPCR and β-arrestin signaling in cancer and innate immunity. The position applies biochemical, cellular, and structural biology techniques to advance understanding of cell signaling regulation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior laboratory research experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, or cell biology. Ability to apply scientific knowledge and research methodologies in a biological or health sciences environment. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on research projects. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cell culture and molecular biology. Experience in protein expression and chromatographic purification techniques. Familiarity with structural biology techniques (e.g., X-ray crystallography or cryo-electron microscopy) is a plus.
