As our optical portfolio accelerates, we are growing the team with a seasoned Product Engineer who wants real ownership and real impact. Job Summary: Ready to take the wheel on products the whole industry will be talking about? As our Senior NPI Product Engineer, you will own new products from the first silicon through to full-volume production. You will have the authority to set the test strategy, define the specifications, and make the calls that decide how fast, how well and how profitably each product reaches the market. You will lead cross-functional programs spanning Design, Marketing, Test, Characterization, Quality & Reliability, Applications and Operations. You will turn mountains of ATE and bench data into confident, statistically sound decisions, and you will work hands-on with foundry and OSAT partners to make sure every device we ship is a device our customers can trust. This is a high-visibility role where your fingerprints end up on the product and your decisions show up in the results. You will have a seat at the table from Day 1, and a team that expects you to use it. Responsibilities: • Own the NPI journey end to end. Drive programs from product concept through final release and seamless transfer to full-volume manufacturing. Lead milestone reviews and own the release deliverables and OSAT manufacturing documentation. (25%) • Engineer products that test well and build well. Define and drive Design for Testability (DfT) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) requirements, and lead the development and optimisation of ATE test programs with Test Engineering. You will also own the final datasheet specifications and production test limits, set through rigorous, data-driven analysis. (35%) • Turn data into decisions. Build and own characterisation plans for wafer-level and bench testing across PVT conditions. Lead ATE-to-bench correlation and process capability studies, run yield modelling and DOE, and drive reliability qualification. Find the biggest yield-loss opportunities and chase them to closure. (30%) • Protect quality and keep improving. Monitor yield and quality trends across the manufacturing flow, own test coverage and guard-band decisions, and lead failure analysis and root cause investigations on field returns, driving CAPA through to closure. Partner with foundry, packaging and OSAT teams, and deliver lifecycle cost reductions that matter. (10%) Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree strongly preferred) • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, test engineering or design engineering • Proven ownership of silicon bring-up, characterisation and production transfer programs • Hands-on experience with ATE test development, ATE-to-bench correlation and production test limit setting • Strong foundation in DfT and DfM principles • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as JMP or Excel, and scripting or automation in Python, TCL or equivalent • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills • Fluent professional English (written and spoken) Desired Qualifications: • Background in analog/mixed-signal or optical IC characterisation (TIA, CDR, LimitAmp, high-speed SerDes) • Familiarity with high-speed ATE platforms such as Advantest or Teradyne • Experience with JEDEC reliability qualification methodologies (HTOL, HAST, ESD, latch-up) • Exposure to ATPG, MBIST or boundary scan DFT flows • Experience engaging directly with foundry and OSAT partners Why Join Us? • Be at the centre of the AI infrastructure boom.
