[What the role is] [LTA-P&P]DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS FINANCING,INVESTMENT & GOVERNANCE [What you will be working on] We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills to join the Bus Financing, Investment and Governance Division within the Policy Sub-Group. This Division plays a key role in shaping Singapore’s bus industry through the formulation of strategies and policies that support the development of an efficient, sustainable and commuter-focused public transport system. The team is responsible for driving policy and financing frameworks for the bus sector, including the exploration and implementation of new alternative transport modes such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to the future of Singapore’s land transport landscape by developing innovative policy solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance public transport outcomes for commuters. You will formulate policies and strategies for Singapore’s expanding bus network, including the Bus Master Plan and emerging alternative transport modes such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). You will design and develop contracting approaches for bus services and new mobility solutions to ensure alignment of interests between LTA and operators, while ensuring that the legislative and regulatory frameworks effectively support policy objectives. The role also involves conducting robust financial modelling and analysis of system finances to support policy decision-making and safeguard the long-term financial sustainability of the bus industry, including establishing and reviewing processes to monitor key system indicators. In addition, you will collaborate closely with government agencies and other stakeholders to support the timely development and successful implementation of strategic transport projects and initiatives.
