Job Description: UofL Health/UofL Physicians is seeking an APRN/PA Nocturnist Hospitalist for UofL Health Hospital. The APRN/PA Hospitalist will function in collaboration with the medical director in the care of adult patients with critical illness on the mixed acuity units. His/her primary responsibility as a member of team will be management of a case load of critically ill patients in a primarily mixed acuity/transitional care unit setting. They will perform physical exams, collect and document data, organize/perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consults, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications, and provide direct patient care services to admitted Internal Medicine patients.
