We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA to join a team responsible for managing and operating mission-critical database environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the day-to-day operation of Oracle database environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Manage Oracle infrastructures, performing installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades.
- Administer backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes using RMAN, Data Guard, and Commvault.
- Ensure database availability, security, and compliance, including access management and encryption mechanisms.
- Participate in migration, implementation, and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Create, maintain, and improve operational procedures and technical documentation.
- Drive automation, proactive monitoring, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and other IT areas to ensure platform reliability and stability.
Desired Profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c and 19c.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) administration and monitoring.
- Experience with Commvault backup and recovery solutions.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, preferably Oracle Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with scripting and operational task automation.
- Proven background managing high-availability, production-critical environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is considered a plus.
Languages:
- English (B2 level minimum) is mandatory.
- French is a plus.
