Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate printing equipment while ensuring jobs meet production, quality, and safety standards. Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Your Responsibilities: Follow detailed job orders and identify and correct potential errors or problems Set up and adjust press equipment to meet job specifications Monitor product quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed Monitor equipment during production and report mechanical issues to maintenance Start and run jobs according to the production schedule Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep Meet established standards for production output, waste, and spoilage Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area Complete production logs and related paperwork accurately Operate equipment that may include complex multi-color and multi-process inline equipment and high-speed multi-color digital presses with finishing capabilities Your Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, Monday - Friday You Must Have: Mechanical and technical skills or aptitude Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization Ability to operate equipment to meet established production and quality standards Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions Ability to communicate professionally Strong attention to detail Requirements Within This Position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials Frequently required to move inside the facility Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer: Ability to distinguish colors Experience in a production-related environment Experience with Flexo Press About Taylor Corporation One of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
