Department Overview You will join the Internal Communications Group within the General Affairs Department of Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc. (RTS). Our team is responsible for managing all-hands meetings for Rakuten Mobile (including the Symphony business) and RTS. We act as a "hub for organizational communication," bridging the gap between management and employees to foster a sense of unity and drive organizational engagement. Position Details As a member of the Internal Communications Group, you will focus on "meeting management" as the core of your communication strategy. We are seeking a core member to handle the three key morning assemblies (Symphony, Rakuten Mobile, and RTS) across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - All-Hands Meeting Management (Primary Focus): Planning, preparation, and operation of the "Symphony," "Rakuten Mobile," and "RTS" morning assemblies. This includes stakeholder coordination and facilitating smooth sessions using both English and Japanese. - Internal Communication Initiatives: Planning and executing employee engagement events for RTS. - Information Dissemination: Planning and updating content such as management messages and project introductions via internal communication tools (e.g., portals). - Analysis and Improvement: Conducting surveys, analyzing results, and proposing improvements to enhance the quality of meetings and events. Work Environment: You will interact daily with senior management and high-level stakeholders. We seek individuals with high interpersonal skills who can communicate respectfully and move projects forward smoothly. We promote a flexible work environment with a hybrid work policy. Existing Team Background Our team consists of professionals with diverse backgrounds, including event management, project management, public relations, and general back-office roles. We do not strictly require a "traditional General Affairs" background; rather, we value members who leverage their strong communication skills to collaborate effectively. Mandatory Qualifications: - At least 3 years of professional work experience. - Practical experience working in English (must be capable of smooth communication in meetings, emails, and chat). - Practical experience in meeting/secretariat operations, planning/managing events, or project management. - High level of communication skills to collaborate smoothly with stakeholders, including executive management. - Basic IT skills (Zoom, Microsoft Office, Viber, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Desired Qualifications: - Experience managing large-scale meetings or events. - Knowledge of online streaming or hybrid event execution. - Ability to work flexibly and proactively in a fast-paced environment. - Note: TOEIC scores are used only as a reference; we place higher priority on your practical ability to perform tasks in English.
