Job Summary: Accountable for planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating educational activities. Accountable, in collaboration with area leadership teams, for promoting a continuous learning environment that supports ongoing staff development for assigned clinical areas. Qualifications: Education Program An approved respiratory care program (required) Associates Degree An approved respiratory care program (required) Or Bachelors Degree In a health related field within five (5) years of placement in position (required) Licenses and Certifications BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required) RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner License - RCB - Respiratory Care Board of California (required) RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist - NBRC - National Board for Respiratory Care (required) PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association PICU only within 12 months of hire or transfer into position (required) NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program - AHA - American Heart Association within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position (required) Other - Other Maintains membership in appropriate professional organization(s).
