Custodian
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our casino facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff across all areas of the property, including gaming floors, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of gaming floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and spot-cleaning carpets and hard surfaces
Maintain restroom facilities to the highest standards, including cleaning fixtures, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed
Empty and replace trash receptacles throughout the facility, ensuring waste is properly disposed of according to company guidelines
Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and other cleaning emergencies on the gaming floor and throughout the property
Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, equipment, and furniture in accordance with health and safety standards
Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and other necessary items in designated areas
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Communicate with supervisors regarding maintenance issues or areas requiring special attention
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the casino
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitization protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid government-issued identification and ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a casino, hotel, or high-volume hospitality environment
- Certification in professional cleaning or housekeeping standards
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated reliability with consistent attendance and punctuality record
