Maintains proficiency in hazardous and sterile compounding, controlled substance management, inventory integrity, and regulatory compliance. Leads initiatives in medication safety, quality assurance, and operational optimization, while mentoring staff and supporting training programs. Collaborates with pharmacists, clinical teams, and leadership to advance departmental goals and contributes to practice improvement, governance, and professional development efforts. Maintains national pharmacy certification. Work Hours/Shifts: 2 x 10 hour shifts Mix of days and evenings, with some weekend hours 20 hours/week Job Functions: Leads enterprise-level inventory operations, including procurement processes, formulary alignment, and perpetual inventory accuracy. Oversees controlled substance programs, diversion prevention efforts, and compliance with DEA and institutional policies. Conducts advanced audits and operations reviews to advise on inventory integrity analytics, cost containment strategies, medication shortage mitigation, and supply chain resilience.
